Major: Disability Studies
Lee has been involved in a variety of projects over the years related to Social and Disability Justice. As a Queer Disabled activist, Lee is interested in looking at issues faced by people with multiple marginal identities and experiences. Lee is currently working on a film that will be affiliated with the D Center called “Accessible Spaces.” It will discuss the power of accessible spaces for marginalized folks. Lee is excited to be apart of creating an accessible space on campus focused on activism and building community. ####
Major: Communications – Journalism
Hannah has experience in disability activism, social justice, fundraising, volunteering, and community outreach. Hannah is working with the D Center because she is so excited to finally have a space where we can create community and she can use her previous experience to collaborate with and learn from everyone!
As a Deaf woman, Christine has experience in social justice, volunteering and community outreach. Christine is working with the D Center because she is very excited to build a strong community with an accessible space on campus. Christine looks forward to meeting and getting to know everyone involved in the D Center’s community.
